Pictures from Nashville, Tennessee Winter Meeting |
The pre tour for the Nashville convention took us on a long busride that was well worth the ride! Upon our arrival at the Komatsu proving grounds, we each received a hard hat and safety glasses and then after a safety talk and our instructions, everyone was free to run any piece of equipment that was there. Wow, a big boy play ground!! Jerry Biuso ran a dozer....were those railroad ties?? Check out the picture of Terry McConnell getting ready to run the dozer and Ray Miller driving the haul truck! |

After a great meal at the proving grounds, we then boarded the buses and headed for Komatsu's Chattanooga plant. There they make the PC200-PC400 and 6 x 6 Haul Trucks. We were treated to a full tour of the plant and a question and answer time. The evening meal was enjoyed at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo train station. |

Vendor's night at the convention is always interesting as we converse with the vendors and enjoy the food that is prepared. As usual, "Jane Deere" kept the night interesting with her game and "Pookie" made the scene too! Ask Jerry Biuso or Marion Bower about "Pookie"! Another night was spent at the Grand Ole Opry. The ladies silent auction was a hit and raised over $2,191.00 for the scholarship fund. Ohio was well represented at the Nashville convention and we hope you will take the time to enjoy a convention in the near future! |
